Defend suspended students!

There's a group of us who've got suspended and others who've been told not to do political activity at school, so we're working together to protest these attacks on our freedom of speech. Wanna join us? Get in touch. We've got sample letters to send to people and other material you can have too, but your ideas are also wanted. Email Bolshy at bolshy_03@hotmail.com or ring Dan on 07761 580 517.
Our hit list of Head-teachers for this edition starts with...

....Jean Lebrecht, Headteacher, Hornsey School for Girls, Inderwick Rd., London, N8 9JF

Jean's been banning all protests and political activities in school. Students there are protesting against this with the motto: "You let us watch the World Cup and miss school. Why can't we demonstrate and miss school for something we believe in?" They'd like your support by writing to her to protest.

The Helena Romanes School has been in the news recently, so we should keep up the pressure. The students are demanding that the 6-week suspension be lifted from Elena Grice, and that the actions of the students be applauded not punished. Why not let Headteacher Smithy know what you think?

Write to Stephen Smith, The Helena Romanes School, Parsonage Downs, Dunmow, Essex, CM6 2AU. Tel: 01371 872560, Fax: 01371 874632 hrschool@rmplc.co.uk

You could also continue to protest the suspension of the six students at Blatchington Mill School, Nevill Ave., Hove, East Sussex,
BN3 7BW. office@blatchingtonmill.org.uk,

And the two students at Otley Prince Henry's Grammar School, Farnley Lane, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 2BB.

Send Bolshy copies of your letters/emails!
