Some TfL Travel Information Centres have recently acquired machines so they can refund customers' £5 Oyster deposits, a procedure currently only done at a LU Ticket Office.
In the Travel Information call centre, too much is time is spent trying to calm down callers who are angry and confused about closed ticket offices and which ticket to buy.
