Leon Trotsky: Marxism and Ukrainian independence
In Mid-1939 Trotsky came out for Ukrainian national independence from the oppressive Stalinist Russian state. His proposal was rejected both by the Russian bourgeois-democratic exile press and Trotskyist sectarians who accused him of abandoning the defence of the USSR. He replies to his critics.
