Don't let managers obstruct new rosters

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

Tubeworker is aware of several areas where it has been made unnecessarily difficult to implement special pandemic rosters. This is largely due to an unwillingness to engage properly with reps.

We should not be required to cover any duty that is non-essential, and whilst at work we must be assured that measures are in place to make social distancing realistic and achievable.

Allowing staff to be at home for some of the time they might usually have been at work is a thoroughly reasonable mitigation to the risk we face whilst in the workplace. Any delay to this being implemented is simply making things worse.
