As we all know, Winter is upon us now. But the cleaners have still not got any winter uniform to keep them warm or prevent them getting sick in the subzero temperatures.
Without sick pay, low-paid workers need to work whether sick or not. Will we see cleaning staff collapsing from being sick and not able to take time off - just for the sake of some warm clothing?!
This is like we are going back in time to the Victorian times when the working class was seen as the scum of the planet and the bosses thought they were better than anyone else. What an insult in this day and age that we have to fight to get warm clothes just to work in.
