During a one-under at Euston on Wednesday evening, someone decided it would be a good idea to store the body in the cleaners' mess room until the coroner arrived to take it away two hours later.
Doesn't that just say it all about LU's contemptuous attitude towards cleaners? It also shows again that they prioritise re-opening stations above all else. They must have been in such a hurry to get the body out of sight for re-opening to passengers, that they didn't put more than a second's thought into where to put the body.
Luckily, unions found out about this and are investigating whether LU has breached public safety law. Hopefully, such a contemptuous act will not happen again.
