On Saturday night, there was an incident at Bank in which three of the four staff involved were assaulted. It's only the big stations where you would even find four staff on duty at the same time any more, but the staffing levels are obviously still woefully inadequate.
We look forward to our safety reps raising this at the 'review' of the job cuts, and can only speculate as to what management's response will be. Perhaps they will propose that to avoid staff assaults, stations should have no staff at all!
