When is a Ticket Office Not a Ticket Office?

Ticket Office staff at Goodge St Station came into work one morning last week to find that their 'Tickets and Assistance' window had been turned into an 'Information' booth. Not because the ticket sellers have suddenly stopped selling tickets......but because management, continuously striving to undermine ticket offices, have replaced the illuminated sign above the windows to deter customers.

The staff have immediately written to management to get it changed back.

This is a game of cat and mouse. London Underground did exactly the same thing at Goodge St before and reps had to argue to change it back. That they are willing to go to such expense to ultimately confuse cusomers shows how determined they are to close ticket offices.
