When management at King's Cross came up with a new roster, it was put to the staff, who found a few problems with it. So the local union reps started to go through the official channels to get the problems resolved at a higher level. But this has not happened.
Management have now announced that they will impose the new roster. And if the staff aren't happy, then tough! They have even spread the lie that the union have agreed to this roster - despite all the documentation that proves otherwise.
It makes reps' lives tough when they have to fight all the time to make management stick to the agreed ways of working with the unions. Even on small things that would cost them nothing, management are not willing to cooperate with the unions. If management continue to act so unreasonably, they should remember that the staff are entirely capable of not co-operating with management and could make this imposed roster completely unworkable.
