Disabling the QBM

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

In LUL's latest effort to drive its own customers away, company management called Cubic to the Pentonville Road side of King's Cross station today to disable the ticket-issuing facility on the Queue Busting Machine (QBM).

You see, if your glossy adverts and seductive slogans don't persuade people to abandon paper tickets for Oyster, then simply take their choice away! When the carrot fails, wave the stick!

To make matters worse, there is no ticket office on the Pentonville Road side, so customers needing its services need to walk and full quarter-mile to the other side of the station, where a long queue probably awaits them.

Oh well, that's world-class customer service for you!
