£5 Minimum Trial Falls Flat

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

LUL's appalling £5 minimum Oyster top-up trial is up and running - or up and stumbling, more like. Most staff are committed to the 'world class customer service' management continually tell us about, so are happily selling customers whatever top-up they ask for.

That's because we understand that the £5 minimum is an insult to customers, an attack on poorer people in a time of recession, and a long-term threat to ticket office jobs. Oh, and we don't want the grief we'd get for saying 'no' either.
