LUL is about to run two 'trials' on stations, both of which are bad news for staff.
The trial of 'Textback' - encouraging passengers to text in comments about the serivce and about staff - starts on Rickmansworth group tomorrow, followed by the trial of the £5 mimimum Oyster top-up on five zone 1 stations from Sunday 1 March.
Tubeworker reckons that it is no coincidence that these two trials are taking place a different locations. If LUL trialled Textback at a station where it was also trialling the £5 minimum, it would surely be besieged with text messages from people complaining that they could not put less than £5 on their Oyster card at the ticket office window!
