Socialists and other radical workers have a long history of producing regular workplace and industrial bulletins as a way of spreading ideas about militant trade unionism, rank-and-file democracy, and socialism on the shop floor.

How can these publications help us organise to fight the bosses? Do they still have a place in the digital era? And what role can Tubeworker specifically play?

Janine Booth will give a presentation on the history of socialist workplace bulletins on the railway, and look at some of Tubeworker's history.

Following the presentation we'll hold a “Tubeworker AGM”, making some plans for the bulletin for the coming year. All London Underground workers (directly-employed and outsourced) who support the principles of the bulletin, whichever union you're a member of, are welcome.
