With far-right nationalist president Donald Trump on his way out of the White House, what impacts will the election have on workers and trade unionists in the USA and internationally? How will anti-racists, socialists, climate activists and others take their struggles forward under - and against - a Biden presidency?

What did Trump's administration tell us about the state of international politics, and how will his departure affect our own struggles for racial justice, workers' rights, and equality?

We are delighted to welcome two international guest speakers to the meeting:

  • John Ferretti, New York subway worker, TWU Local 100 activist, and supporter of the Local 100 Fightback caucus
  • Traven Leyshon, socialist and trade unionist, active in Vermont AFL-CIO, which recently passed a resolution calling for political strikes to oppose any attempt by Trump to obstruct the election result.
