We've reported previously about the absolute shambles that is ABM's QR code sign-on system.
The situation has not improved. RMT has written to ABM to insist that the system be scrapped, as it's clearly not working and is making life difficult for cleaners.
We're all for paperless technology, but it has to be functional, and the employer, not individual cleaners, need to be responsible for the technological hardware needed for any system, rather than cleaners being asked to use their own phones, or held responsible for company phones. It's also important the tech isn't used to spy on or track cleaners.
