More stations suffer from staffing cuts

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

Green Park is suffering under the new rosters, with barely enough people on duty to keep it running. Recently, a woman SA had to tip out on the Jubilee line alone at midnight - not a situation anyone would want to be in.

Arnos Grove and Victoria groups, amongst others, are reporting significant increases in verbal abuse against staff.

It seems that on certain locations on the Piccadilly line, management are discovering to their great consternation that staff are suddenly unwilling to do overtime. And Supervisors are far too busy to help out with arranging cover, especially at stations where their numbers have been cut. Let's hope that this concentrates management's minds and we get a few posts restored. You never know - but what we do know is that if you do not take a stand, you will get nothing.
